The panic button application for minors was announced today at the opening of the stand of the Ministry of Citizen Protection at TIF Thessaloniki, the responsible minister, Michalis Chrysochoidis.
According to the minister, minor children who may be in danger will be able to use the mobile phone to activate the panic button to alert the authorities and with the possibility of geolocation they will know exactly where a child is in danger. , with the aim of limiting such incidents.
“Today we will launch a new app, a new panic button, an app that will be given to any minors or parents who want it, so that at any time children in danger can call for help. Through and from the five-digit number 10201 that we have established, we are creating an integrated infrastructure of adult protection, avoiding attacks and arrests, and minors as well as parents in case there are unnecessary attacks on children”, he said.
The Minister of Citizen Protection also emphasized that “our commitment is that every day we will become better, more efficient and more dedicated to serve with faith and love the safety of citizens”.
