The nominations for the presidency of PASOK were officially submitted, with all the candidates stating that they have collected the necessary signatures, i.e. at least 5,000 signatures or 15% of the members of the Central Committee, as stipulated by the statutory requirements.
In particular, according to information, Nikos Androulakiscollected 24,810 signatures and 170 signatures of members of the Parliamentary Committee.
THE Harry Doukas collected 100 signatures of members of the Parliamentary Committee.
THE Pavlos Geroulanos presented 8,000 signatures and Anna Diamantopoulou 5-6,000.
THE Michalis Katrinis collected around 14,000 signatures and Nadia Giannakopoulou 8,500.
Finally, O Yannis Kanellakis claims to have collected the necessary 5,000 signatures, but in a letter to the Ethics Committee requests that the collection of signatures not be used as the sole criterion for participation.
It is noted that the next stage includes the announcement of the nominations and the resolution of the irreconcilable issue for Haris Doukas. The interpretation of the statute is expected to close the debate, and the candidates will be presented to the Central Committee on Sunday, September 15, marking the official start of the pre-election battle.
