“These elections are first of all important because they will highlight its next leader PASOK but the most important thing is that these elections should highlight the next prime minister” underlined the Candidate President of PASOK Anna Diamantopoulou in her interview with Giorgos Evgenidis and talk radio 98.9.

He clarified, “that on the day after the elections, there should be a personality who can face, compare and defeat the opposing party”. Mrs. Diamantopoulou appeared unmoved by the positions she advocates, saying emphatically that “on my way I have broken eggs many times and my own political maturity at this moment requires me not to make any compromises in a Greece that will have new characteristics”.

Asked to answer the possibility of political collaborations, she was categorical: “I don’t believe in a nihilistic opposition. There are things we can agree on. This is the only way the country can move forward. By consent. But based on our political understanding”.
