In a video posted on TikTok, Kyriakos Mitsotakis refers to the ten major changes promoted by the government regarding the operation of schools.

According to Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the changes in detail:

  1. “The first change is that this year the year starts with 10,000 more permanent teaching staff and 20,000 substitutes in parallel support.
  2. The second change is the creation of autonomous classes in critical areas. Very small islands get schools with physical presence of teachers for basic subjects.
  3. Third change, the lesson will be done with the 40,000 interactive boards that will be installed by the end of 2024 in all classes from the fifth grade of elementary school to the third grade of high school.
  4. Fourth change, parents through the eparents application will be able to track grades and absences.
  5. Thursday, the new operating regulation of the schools that obliges the parents to restore from their own pocket the damage that the student will cause.
  6. Sixth, the initiation of active citizen actions on intra-school violence and the environment.
  7. Seventh, the digital tutorial for 120,000 students of the Third High School.
  8. Eighth, the individual counseling for the students of the 1st Lyceum for professional orientation
