The president of PASOK-KINAL, Nikos Androulakis, is touring the Lasithi Regional Unit from the morning of Friday 13-9-2024, who earlier had contacts with executives and friends of the party in Ierapetra. In fact, addressing citizens in a city cafe, he asked for the support of PASOK-KINAL in order to overthrow, as he noted, the conservative policy implemented by the New Democracy.

“We saw at the Thessaloniki International Fair that Mr. Mitsotakis was far from reality, announcing measures that do not solve any problem, patchwork measures,” said Mr. Androulakis, adding that he himself set eight national goals, “that if we are given the strength people let’s be the next progressive government and implement this plan, the life of Greeks will improve immediately”.

In addition, he emphasized that “people live a very difficult daily life, without doctors, without nurses and with huge shortages”.

As he typically said in his statements to the media, “education will improve, we will have strong primary, secondary and tertiary education for all Greek children” as well as that “we will have a moral government and not constant phenomena of corruption”.

As he even concluded, “the New Republic disappointed the Greek people. The people gave it a chance in 2019, a new chance in 2023 and instead of Greece’s position improving, we are today in the second worst position in terms of purchasing power in all of Europe. The profits of the few are getting bigger and wages are constantly falling as inflation eats away at family income. So our country needs another policy. I will therefore give all my strength to reverse the current difficult situation and the current conservative policy of Mr. Mitsotakis».

Speaking in Ierapetra, Mr. Androulakis referred to the increased cost of living as well as the cost of production, but also the paradox, as he pointed out, which is none other than that “the people with the second worst purchasing power, pay the second most money for health, in all of Europe».

The president of PASOK-KINAL will visit Sitia, while in the evening he will make a speech in the Hall of the Chamber of Commerce of Lasithi, in Agios Nikolaos.
