Sixty-seven days before the polls, the intra-party “poker” in SYRIZA is becoming more and more difficult.

The “warning” of the deletion of Stefanos Kasselakis remains on the table from the moment Katerina Notopoulou talks about messages of intimidation she has received from Stefanos Kasselakis.

Will he go to the Attorney General as requested by the former president’s side or will he wait for the “green light” from the former president to release them?

The complaint of MP A’ Thessaloniki is not so simple and may decide a lot in the pre-election battle. Each side gives its own version, but the “revelations” – if they ever happen for sure – will “tilt” the scales.

The new “conditions” demanded by the new majority in order for someone to receive the “anointing” of the presidential candidate exploded like a “bomb” yesterday. Despite the assurances at the Political Secretariat that the filing of the petition is not a “photographic” proposal for Stefanos Kasselakis, the former president’s side treats the initiative with suspicion.

A lot of “dust” had been raised from the excel that Mr. Kasselakis had made public at the Thessaloniki event before the European elections and then put on the relevant platform.

The 30 signatures are no longer enough for the “87” who seem determined to leave nothing to chance.

The truth is, of course, that the former president of SYRIZA has filed his case, unless there are some “fine print” in the thinking of the new majority.

No decisions were made on this specific issue, as well as the investigation of the debts of the presidential candidates to the public, insurance funds and tax authorities. The Political Secretariat will meet again tomorrow and it has certainly opened up a new field of confrontation for the Central Committee of the weekend.

At the meeting of the Political Secretariat, Pavlos Polakis, according to information, again asked SYRIZA to run the election procedures more quickly. In the end, he, Theodora Tzakri and Olympia Teligioridou abstained, with the dates that the Political Secretariat will propose to the Central Committee not changing.

The proposal remained that the congress – which will be extraordinary with elections of new congressmen and not statutory – be held from November 1-3 and the elections on the 24th of the same month.

The new majority is constantly holding meetings and in the one held on Monday they concluded that they will support only one candidate against Stefanos Kasselakis and Pavlos Polakis.

The former president is making contacts with executives and parliamentarians and based on the latest information, it is possible that he will reveal his next steps even on Friday.
