THE Nikos Deligiannis agreed to take over the women’s water polo group Alimosreplacing Theo Loranto. The 49 -year -old technician worked for 3.5 years in Apollo Smyrnis, who led to the Challenger Cup in 2023 and the Greek Cup final in 2024, but left the “Amphibious Brigade” last summer.
The old international goalkeeper, participating in four Olympics, a bronze medal in the World Championship (2005) and 26 titles with Olympiacos (12 championships, 12 cups, a Champions League and a European Super Cup in 2002), National teams as a goalkeeper coach.
“I am very happy to be back to coaching, in a team that wanted me very much. Alimos Nas has high goals, but it takes a lot of work at all levels, of all, to become a team like I imagine.
