The Turkish president enjoyed a frappe, with Turkish journalists commenting that Mr Erdogan prefer Greek coffee.

Last night he visited a confectionery and the workers were anxious about his service, as reported from Istanbul by Manolis Kostidis.

Erdogan: I kiss your eyes too.

Employee: Yes, I made him

Erdogan: You? So you know the frappe!

Employee: Enjoy him!

Erdogan’s assurance: “Turkey’s face is of course turned towards the West”

“But we are not neglecting the East. We will expand the dialogue with the BRICS and the Shanghai Organization”

Erdogan: “Turkey’s axis and path are clear, as well as the alliances in which it is a member and participates. I keep saying it. The face of Turkey is of course turned towards the West. However, this does not mean that we will turn our backs on the East, neglect the East, or not develop our relations with the East. We no longer live in a black and white world, a world where one of two blocs must be preferred. We want to develop our cooperation with all countries and all actors on a kazan-kazan basis, with a balanced approach based on mutual respect.

This approach is behind the will to expand the ground of dialogue with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS and ASEAN. There is nothing more natural than strengthening our partnership with the Asia-Pacific and Indian Ocean geography, where 3 of the 5 largest economies in the world are located in this region.”

Ship traffic system in the occupied territories

Turkish Ministry of Transport: “We will manage the Blue Homeland”

Journalist: Sir, an agreement had been signed with ‘TDBK’ for this vessel traffic service system. (ship traffic services system) Of course, this was an important project for the Eastern Mediterranean issue. I wonder what the latest status of this project is?

A. Uraloglou, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey: We have started working on the creation of a center there, so that we manage not only the movement of ships, but also the Blue Homeland of our country and Cyprus.

We will probably launch it towards the end of next year. We will also increase our strength and we will be in a better place in Cyprus in this respect.
