“If there is something that should be at the core of the educational process – and that is where not just educational systems but societies are judged – it is summed up in one word, the word inclusion.”

This was stated in a post on social media by the Minister of Education, Religion and Sports, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, on the occasion of today’s opening of the Unified Special Vocational High School (ENEEGYL) of Kifisia, alongside the mayor of Kifisia, Nea Erythraia and Ekali, Vassilis Xipolytas.

Mr. Pierrakakis expressed his “great satisfaction” for the opening of the new school and added: “At the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports we aim for students with special educational needs to have the opportunity to receive through education the supplies for to enter the labor market and move on with their lives.”

According to what the minister mentioned in the relevant post, the new school will be attended by 24 high school students from this year, while in a few years it will be able to host a total of 72 children, in its full operation.
