Mr Gerapetritis thanked his Bolivian counterpart for her country’s support in Greece’s election process
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos Gerapetritis met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia Selinda Sosa Lunda this morning at the offices of the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations, while after the meeting a Memorandum was signed for the Creation of a Bilateral Mechanism for Political Consultations between Bolivia and the Greek Democracy.
On the sidelines of the work of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly, the two Ministers confirmed the excellent level of bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed the desire to strengthen their bilateral relations and cooperation within multilateral organizations.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs explained to Mrs. Luda the priorities of Greece and the basic principles that will govern Greece’s participation in the UN Security Council as a non-permanent member during the two years 2025-2026.
Mr. Gerapetritis thanked his Bolivian counterpart for the country’s support in Greece’s election process and pledged that within the framework of its mandate, Greece will be firmly committed to the promotion of multilateralism based on International Law and the principles enshrined in the Map of the United Nations.
