Heavy fire, personal attacks and spikes, recriminations, political but also intense dialogues prevailed in the debate where Nikos Androulakis, Pavlos Geroulanos, Nadia Giannakopoulou, Anna Diamantopoulou, Haris Doukas and Michalis Katrinis crossed swords, ahead of the election of a new PASOK president on the 6 October.

The “performances” of the six candidates evaluated by the readers of skai.gr via online votinganswering the question “Which candidate do you think is the winner of the debate?”

It is noted that this is not a poll with a weighted sample, but for an online votewhere the sample is random.

The vote was aired during the second break of the debate (at 23:13) and while the topics Economy-Development, Social state-New generation-Demographics, Foreign policy-Defence-European Union, State-Institutions-Self-Government had been completed. , Climate crisis-Political protection-Energy transition (followed by the thematic “PASOK: Next day” and the final positioning of the candidates) and closed at 15.00 on Wednesday.

Initially, Pavlos Geroulanos was in the lead, while Anna Diamantopoulou and Nikos Androulakis alternated for some time in second place.

Shortly after the end of the debate (around 12.30 midnight) the voting results gave 25% to Pavlos Geroulanos, 24% to Anna Diamantopoulos, 18% to Nikos Androulakis, 17% to Haris Doukas, 7% to Nadia Giannakopoulos, 6% Michalis Katrinis, with 3% voting “None/None.”

Then Pavlos Geroulanos widened the gap to 28%, with Nikos Androulakis moving into second place with 25% and with a significant difference from Anna Diamantopoulou and the 17% that brought her to third place.

Shortly after 02:00 in the morning, Anna Diamantopoulou found herself in first place and has maintained her lead ever since. In fact, the morning TV and radio shows detailed the poll and it seems that the new wave of voters that was added widened the gap in her favor.

Thus, the final result of the online vote “Who do you think is the winner of the debate” goes like this:

  • Pavlos Geroulanos: 22.5%
  • Nikos Androulakis: 13.2%
  • Haris Doukas: 11.9%
  • Nadia Giannakopoulou: 6.6%

  • None: 3.2%
