Nadia Giannakopoulou from Peristeri and the 1st Primary School exercised her right to vote. The candidate for the presidency of PASOK – KINAL appeared optimistic about the internal party elections and said she was particularly happy as her eldest daughter, who is over 16 years old, participated in the election process today.

“Today is a big, special day for PASOK. Thousands of citizens are invited today, after three months of a process of dialogue and celebration of democracy, to take PASOK into their hands, to vote with their hand on their hearts and with an eye to the future for the new PASOK leadership. For a new, dynamic path. A new, dynamic beginning so that on the 14th of the month the country will have a strong official opposition and in the next elections, PASOK will be the next government of the country” said Ms. Giannakopoulou.

“I see a lot of people and that makes me happy. I believe that today we will exceed all expectations”, added Mrs. Giannakopoulou calling on his citizens to participate en masse in the process, in order to “give a resounding answer that PASOK is here, hope and perspective for the country, in the face of Mr. Mitsotakis’ dead-end one-way street”.

The polls are expected to close at 7:00 in the afternoon, while the party members have the right to vote and in addition those over the age of 16 who wish to do so by declaring, in whichever polling station they go, that they want to register either as members or as friends and sign responsible declaration that they are not members of another party.
