The meetings that Pavlos Geroulanos had from the morning in the Parliament with Nikos Androulakis and Haris Doukas ended a little after half past one in the afternoon, after the communication that they had with him 2 leadership contenders of PASOK, with him remaining faithful to what he said on Sunday night and maintaining a neutral stance on second round of internal party elections.
“The voters have their own will and will express it in action. Participation is important and I invite everyone to go and vote“, Pavlos Geroulanos emphasized after the end of the two meetings, from the peristyle of the Parliament, adding that he submitted a series of his proposals to both gladiators of the second round, in order for PASOK to grow and be ready to claim the victory in the next national elections.
The meeting with him Nikos Androulakis was preceded and held in the office of the President of PASOK on the 1st floor of the parliament. It lasted about an hour with the two men leaving the office smiling. Immediately after Pavlos Geroulanos he headed to the funeral home where he spoke with MPs who congratulated him on his pre-election campaign, while his warm greeting with the Minister of the Interior, Theodoros Livanios, stood out.
The meeting with the Mayor of Athens started 10 minutes earlier than planned, with Mr Harry Doukas to wait for him in a room of the PASOK parliamentary group, and for the discussion between the two men to last approximately 45 minutes. In his statements, Haris Doukas confirmed the good atmosphere, underlining:I emphasized the necessity, because it belongs to the backdoor, every day that passes, to the extreme right and intolerance, the message of the ballot box is clear, let’s change now. It will be captured on Sunday“, as he said. Answering a question about the debate, he said that discussions are progressing to hold it immediately.
