Koumoundourou’s strong displeasure was conveyed to Peter Pappathe President of the Parliamentary Group of the official opposition in a meeting the two men had this morning in the Parliament, on the occasion of recent statements of the MP Kilkis of SYRIZA that are “out of context”, culminating in the public rhetoric of a uniformed soldier.

According to information from K.O SYRIZANikos Pappas reprimanded him for the “outside the party line” statements he has made at times, warning him and asking him to proceed immediately with a statement that would clarify that he is bound by the party’s positions on the military. The same sources interpret this meeting as an “orange card” to the MP, with the possibility of deletion being on the table if the MP does not reform immediately.

It is recalled that there have been other statements by Petros Pappas in the past, which had caused embarrassment to Koumoundourou, such as the one about Orthodox Jews and also about private universities.
