“What Mr. Marinakis said regarding the abominations uttered by Mr. Mitsotakis from the floor of the Parliament, regarding the official opposition, looks like “squaring the circle”, SYRIZA-PS underlines in a statement.

“The government representative was forced to admit that Mr. Mitsotakis has no right to interfere in the procedures of other parties, nor to define who has or does not have the right to be elected”, notes SYRIZA-PS, emphasizing that “in essence, the ill-fated Mr. Mitsotakis’ presentation to the Plenary of the Parliament was nothing more than an attempt to solve his own internal party issues and, above all, an attempt to cover up the real problems faced by Greek society by the neoliberal policy of his government”.

“In any case, the 100,000 burned acres in Attica cannot be hidden with the institutional acrobatics of Mr. Mitsotakis. Nor, of course, the 4 million acres that have burned across the country from 2019 to date. The same applies to the crime of Tempe and the associated “bazoma”.
