“In terms of income, Mr. Mitsotakis may think he has time, but society does not,” SYRIZA-PS states in a statement
“With his announcements on the minimum wage the Prime Minister seeks to make petty political gains for dubious results in the distant future. At the same time, it denies the right of workers to negotiate freely on the level of the minimum wage, affecting in various ways the institution of collective labor agreements”, says SYRIZA-PS in a statement, commenting on the announcements of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The announcement continues:
“The needs of the Greek people are immediate and require radical interventions now.
Based on the purchasing power of workers, Greece ranks second to last in the EU. Food inflation has changed the eating behavior of households for the worse. Housing costs are out of control by this government’s fault. Energy policy has skyrocketed electricity bills.
In terms of income, Mr. Mitsotakis may think he has time, but society does not.
As for the tax “reliefs”, Mr. Mitsotakis must be recorded as the only prime minister who reduced taxes by excessively increasing the tax burden on citizens, as can be seen from the ever-increasing tax revenues”
