Queues of supporters of Stefanos Kasselakis have formed at Gazi live following a call by the former SYRIZA president to gather outside the venue where the conference will be held
In the midst of crimes and counter-complaints between the Kasselakis side and the “87”, the work of the Extraordinary Congress of SYRIZA begins at Polychoros in Gazi at 18:30 with the speech of the secretary of K.E. Rania Svigou and the president of K.O., Nikos Pappa.

The tense atmosphere of the previous days peaked yesterday after Pavlos Polakis’ complaints about Stefanos Kasselakis’ Pothen Esches.
It is in this climate that the work of the conference is expected to take place, as queues of conference attendees close to Stefanos Kasselakis have formed at Gazi live following his call to gather outside the multipurpose hall.
The tension is expected to peak while waiting for the decision of the presidium of the conference, which will be proposed by the majority, on whether it will “cut off” any request from the Kasselakis side for his participation in the electoral process, strictly adhering to the agenda and the decision of the Central Committee .
Shortly before the start of the Conference, Mr Stefanos Kasselakis with his post on social media, he left clear tips for the majority, stating that the number of delegates has not been announced.

Earlier, executives and parliamentarians who support Stefanos Kasselakis and are members of the KOES went to Koumoundourou to express their protest about the procedures being followed, while the director of Stefanos Kasselakis’ office, Manolis Kapnisakis, also went to the party’s headquarters.
Theodora Tzakri stated that they came as members of the CEEC to be officially informed about the total number of elected congressmen as well as the number of elected congressmen per OM “and they refused to inform us”.
He claimed that “all these strategies that we are experiencing from Saturday until today are happening for one and only reason: because the party bureaucracy has established that the vast majority of delegates are in favor of Stefanos Kasselakis participating in the elections and against his exclusion”. She said that an indisputable element for this is the USB stick which, as she announced, in a few hours she will submit to the congress office and which “includes 1,934 signatures of congressmen who are in favor of the participation of Stefanos Kasselakis in the elections and he the number will exceed 2,000 by the time work officially begins.”
