Mr. Manzios adds that “concern and reflection is caused – without, of course, adopting the accuracy of Güler’s statements – from the reference to Turkey’s “show of determination” in the Kasos incident last July, for the defense and implementation of the illegal Turkish-Libyan memorandum”.

“Undoubtedly, despite its seriousness, the incident remains to this day hazy, as its circumstances have not yet been fully clarified. It is, therefore, a matter of principle but also of fundamental consensus, that there should be special information regarding the development and outcome of the incident and its potential impact on the sovereignty and sovereign rights of our country”concludes Mr. Manzios.
