Intervening in the debate on the budget in the Parliament, the President of Plevsis Eleftheria made and addressing the Minister of Finance, she spoke about claiming the revenues of the Greek State which the Government does not claim, such as from corruption cases and such as from the German debts, which the Government does not even write in the budget.
Zoe Konstantopoulou said that instead of claiming what is owed to the Greek people, the Government announces new loans and is happy because it borrows cheaper.
“You do not claim and this is called disloyalty at the expense of the Greek State. At the same time you are over-indebting the country with loans while you have to question the Public debt, which has been proven to be illegitimate, that it is connected to your own acts of corruption and entanglement, with reprehensible loan contracts and with reprehensible other equipment contracts and similar procedures, from which some came out much richer at the expense of the Greek State”.
Zoi reminded that during the days of Hatzidakis both OTE and Olympiaki were sold out and called it a political indecency for the Government to claim that it inherited a debt, for which it itself bears huge responsibilities.
He asked the Minister of Finance, why the Government does not restore the 13th and 14th salary of public employees, which Freedom Sailing has requested with a law proposal, why it does not reduce the VAT for basic necessities and why it does not exempt from VAT vulnerable social groups and agricultural oil.
