With a different interview, which brings to the fore the needs, possibilities and perspectives of the Greek region, the prime minister “closes” 2024.

On Christmas Eve, Kyriakos Mitsotakis gave an interview to Fotini Gallou, a young journalist who decided to return from Thessaloniki to her hometown, Proti Serron, where she started publishing the newspaper “Ta Choriatika”, through which she tries to highlight both the needs of the Greek region and the advantages of returning to the village.

As the young journalist told SKAI, her newspaper is currently monthly and covers the Municipalities of Amphipolis and Nea Zichni, with mainly local news.

Fotini was invited to Maximos Palace by the prime minister himself, after learning about her initiative.

Their discussion mainly revolved around issues of particular concern to him: supporting the residents of the region, strengthening entrepreneurship and the primary sector based on the unique virtues of each region, providing incentives for young people and families to settle outside the big cities (such as recently done with the Evros package), and the use of technology to combat disparities between the region and the cities, especially in issues such as education.

The sheet with the interview of Kyriakos Mitsotakis is distributed in the villages of Serres today, Saturday.
