Tension in the mountainous seats of the Parliament between Greek Solution and New Left his letter provokes Kyriakos Velopoulos to the Speaker of the Parliament, the Prime Minister and the leaders of the parties, requesting that Elon Musk be invited to the Plenary Assembly in order to deliver a speech.
“We consider it nationally beneficial, if not imperative, to invite Mr. Elon Musk, in order to address the Parliament of the Greeks, so that Greece can declare internationally that, as the cradle of the Republic, it remains its main guardian”, the letter states, among other things, as he adds, the businessman “leads the global effort to freedom of speech, expression and the free dissemination of ideas, elements which constitute the quintessence of Democracy”.
As the “most willing supporter of the American government”, the New Left described Kyriakos Velopoulos in its announcement, stressing that the president of the Hellenic Solution “is reaching out to take something from what Elon Musk does for the European extreme right, confirming the saying for the last refuge of swindlers.”
According to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, in order for heads of state, presidents of governments and personalities of international prestige to address the Parliament, they must first be proposed by the President of the Parliament, the Conference of Presidents must give an opinion and then the Plenary must decide.
