“Unfortunately, not all countries have the means to support the most vulnerable citizens from price increases in energy prices. We need common tools to ensure that inequalities do not increase, both nationally and at European level between different countries. This was stated by the president of KINAL-PASOK, Nikos Androulakisas part of his intervention in the afternoon at meetingvia video conference of Of European Socialists (PES) at the center of which were the dramatic developments of the war in Ukraine.
THE chairman of PASOK-Movement for Change underlined the importance of common tools for dealing with the energy crisis and the price increase rally, which is burdening family budgets. As he characteristically said: “My country has been living in a constant crisis for the last twelve years. We must not allow the people to pay the price again. “It would undermine the European venture and the unity that is needed.”
Referring to the millions Ukrainian refugees who left their country after the Russian invasion, o Nikos Androulakis argued that the Commission should propose a pan-European relocation program.
