Government’s planning to recover the initiative and subsequent landmarks in Parliament
By Gifts Antoniou
The completion of the process of electing his Konstantinou Tasoula As President of the Republic paves the way for parliamentary procedures related to the case of Temps. Both the government majority and opposition parties are shaping their strategy for the coming period, focusing on what is expected in the House. The debate and vote on the request for a pre -trial committee for the Christos Triantopoulosfiled by PASOK, is the simplest of what is expected. And this is because the government has announced its decision to support the request, in the context of the doctrine of “all in the light” and to respond in practice to complaints about the concealment attributed by the opposition.
The House is pending the requests for a pre -agenda debate on the Tempe case, which have been filed by SYRIZA and the KKE. Government sources insist that the government wants only one debate about Tempi and will not come to the House to say the same things twice. This explains why so far there has been no move to determine the pre -agenda discussion. In essence, the government is waiting to see if the opposition will proceed to Deposit of Dude Proposalwhich has been announced by PASOK after the publication of the findings. This may be delayed in time, as it is not clear whether the completion of the findings is influenced by the disclosure of the three videos and whether they should be co -consisted by the researchers.
As the time of the next steps in relation to the Tempi seems to move further back, the government is studying Return movements to ‘normalcy’. It is more than clear that the Maximus Palace does not want political timeliness to be monitored by the Tempe case, which leaves no room for other issues and does not allow it to continue to produce government work. Thus, the return to normalcy and everyday life is gradually pursued in the coming days. The prime minister is expected to give the present at an event for the presentation of new buses that will boost their fleet Public transportwhile presenting program actions “Marietta Giannakou”concerning the upgrading of school infrastructure. At the same time, next week, Mr Mitsotakis’ visits to the region, which are also left behind, are expected to begin, and the prime minister is scheduled to be in Thessaloniki next Wednesday.
In the Prime Minister’s staff, they believe that the government has been able to significantly regain its footing following the turmoil caused by the Tempe case. They acknowledge, however, that a monotheistic sovereignty of this issue, which causes negative associations and distrust over political leadership movements in much of public opinion, can only cause deterioration. The targeted confrontation with the opposition parties seeks to rally the party audience, while trying to bring back to the forefront of daily life, the government attempts to reintroduce the debate to dealing with daily problems where it considers it.
