The Deputy Minister of Transport traveled by train from Larissa Station to Thessaloniki Railway Station, conducting an autopsy
THE Konstantinos Kyranakis conducted an autopsy on Athens-Thessaloniki Railway Networktraveling by train from Larissa station to Thessaloniki Railway Station.
In his statements after the trip was completed, the Deputy Minister of Transport pointed out that the rail network was deeply ill and the problems are not solved with an “aspirin”, as he characteristically pointed out.
In detail what he said as ERT reports:
“It’s a self -evident move for someone who undertakes to solve a big problem for the country. If you do not see with your eyes and you do not hear these ears, which are happening in the field, you cannot understand a problem to solve it. Thank you very much to the drivers, who were pointing out things through almost all my trip to understand exactly what was going on on the rail network. What we can certainly say is that both OSE and several Hellenic Train issues and the rail network overall are deeply ill and all these problems are not solved with an “aspirin”. Decisive moves are needed, we need big changes and we need to move with great determination. So I come to Thessaloniki, so that I can see what the problems in the field are.
Telephone largely operates on the network, we have the kilometers in detail. The projects of the area, which has been destroyed by Daniel, for which we are waiting for the approval of the Court of Auditors, well next week, and if that happens, next month they begin. “
