Greeting at the solemn Pan -in -law at Stathakio Cultural Center at Astoria The president of the PASOK-Making Change addressed Nikos Androulakiswho has gone to New York to celebrate the national anniversary of 25 March 1821 with our expatriates.

“We have to read these anniversaries with real data. Then a handful of Greeks made a very difficult decision to face a powerful opponent, an empire. This decision made them heroes and us free. The message of this victory is that first of all, culture has fascinated millions of people around the world for hundreds of years, so people from many corners of the globe have stood next to us. The second message is the unity, when we are united we can achieve everything and when we divide we can lose everything. The third point we need to stand is the language, which is our DNA. This DNA must remain alive and there is no child, grandchild, great -grandchild that does not have the opportunity to learn the Greek language in whatever corner of the world it grows. It is our debt and commitment » Mr. Androulakis noted.
