We are here, I want to be close to you, we want your cooperation, because you know the particular local conditions, “the Minister said, addressing the Mayor of Kifissia.
In this context, he announced the placement of 23 new police officers in the Kifissia Security Department, who, as he pointed out, will be thrown into the fight against crime. “Our mission is to feel all residents safe. We want to make the municipality an area of social peace and security and eventually we want to tell us that there is finally security in Kifissia, and you and your children do not feel fear, nor insecure, and you have the confidence that there is a rule of law, which ensures all these very great goods.

In the last year we had an extremely productive cooperation of the two bodies, the fruit of which is the present Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. The results are already measurable, as the ministry has reported a significant decrease in 46% of adult crime and minimizing youthful delinquency, with very few incidents, such as the one we had last Saturday in downtown Kifissia.
As the Minister announced, the Kifissia Police Department will be reinforced by an additional 23 new police officers, who, together with the existing force, will remain and will be solely responsible for guarding our neighborhoods, making him a Metropolitan Center.
Also, the placement of security cameras, which will be supervised exclusively by the Greek Police at the cost of the Municipality of Kifissia and initially placed in the Kifissia, Nea Erythraia shopping malls and at the entrances of the city, will enhance both the sense of security and the control of both traffic and offenses.
We would like to thank Mr. Chrysochoidis for the excellent cooperation and empathy with which he faced the issue of security in the Municipality of Kifissia, Nea Eritrea and Ekali. “
