Its referral of Christos Triantopoulos The Judicial Council on the offense of breach of duty was approved by the Plenary of the House with 190 votes. MPs voted in favor of the former deputy minister, in secret ballot, voted by MPs coming from the ND and PASOK parliamentary groups as well as some independent. 10 MPs (6 of the Freedom Cruise) voted in a total of 200 votes.
There were a total of six of the eight opposition parliamentary groups (SYRIZA, KKE, Drawing, Young, Niki, Spartans) as well as MPs of the Republic Movement, complaining of anti -democratic and illegal procedures.
Of the independent, the vote were the independent Samaras, Salmas, Kyriazides, Apostolakis, Sarakiotis and Katsivardas.
The next step – after interruption of the House of Easter work – is the draw in the plenary of the 3 Areopagites and 2 Judges of the CoE, who will set up the Judicial Council and conduct all the following investigative acts.
It was preceded by the debate on the finding of the “Special Parliamentary Committee, which conducted a preliminary examination for the possible commitment of the offense of the breach of duty during the period between 3-3-2023 and 6-3-2023, by the former Deputy Minister despite Prime Minister Christos Triantopoulos” Commission requesting the prosecution of its prosecution in accordance with the provisions of Articles, 86 of the Constitution, 153 of the House and Law 3126/2003 “Criminal Responsibility of the Ministers”.
