With Ambassador of Israel to GreeceNoam Kats met today, M. Tuesday by the Speaker of the House, Nikitas Kaklamanisstressing how “It is necessary to repeat the ceasefire negotiations in order to ensure the liberation of the remaining hostages and to protect the civilian population in Gaza.”
“We need to make every effort to maximize the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and to restore access to drinking water and electricity,” Mr Kaklamanis said characteristically.
The Speaker of the House pointed out that both parliaments have one close cooperation which can be strengthened, further, through each other’s friendship groups and the meetings of the Presidents of Parliamentary Committees.
For his part, the Ambassador of the State of Israel expressed the belief that Greece and Israel can help promote stability and her security in the wider area.
He also stressed that the aim of the two peoples is to strengthen cooperation in many areas of common interest, with particular emphasis on Creating Energy Routes by East Mediterranean toward Europe.
The meeting was also attended by the Embassy of the State of Israel, Mr. Doron Lebovich and the House of International and Public Relations Director of the House, Ms. Margarita Flouda.
