“We are at the EU Foreign Ministry Council at an extremely critical moment, a critical time for EU strategic autonomy, which must develop defense capabilities to enhance its international footprint so that it can have a very strong position in difficult times.”said Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis on his arrival at the EU Foreign Ministry Council in Warsaw.

He added: “We are discussing today on the issue of the Western Balkans, the pre -accession process. Greece has always been an active force, a speeding force in the integration of the Western Balkans into the European family. We will continue to be a helper of this effort. It is important to make it clear that some of the EU authorities remain non -negotiable such as the commitment to international law, the commitment to the rule of law and the respect of the principles of democracy. Today, 80 years after the expiry of the 2nd, we are unfortunately at the worst moment in the world. At a time when for more than 3 years we have the war in Ukraine after the Russian attack that still exists, hostilities in Gaza that we have every day of the day. But also conditions that are derogatory to people as is the case in sub -Saharan Africa and especially in Sudan with displaced and the limits of poverty. The EU and the whole world should emphasize the teachings of the BIP to remain active. Human value, freedom should be the first and the big demand in the world.
