Four ND MPs argue how questions are raised about the quality of the educational process and the value of the bachelor’s degree

Their concern about the degradation of the requirements for the acquisition of the school diploma is submitted by four of its MPs New Democracywith a question to the Minister of Education Sofia Zacharakithrough which they ring a danger bell for the depreciation of the educational process.
The Giannis Economou, Andreas Katsaniotis, Thanassis Zembilis and Xenophon Baraliakos They argue that questions are raised about the quality of the educational process and the value of the diploma.
“The degradation of the requirements for the acquisition of the school diploma, by granting it even to those who have not adequately conquered basic subjects, alter the value of the title and affects its credibility.” ND MPs emphasize in their question, adding that “The mentality of” irrespective of promotion “with the simultaneous persistence in the same educational examination model, act as a disincentive for study and systematic work and weaken the role and importance of the public school as a basic pillar of education and shaping for our new generation.”
