The Vietnam Prime Minister invited Kyriakos Mitsotakis to visit his country, which was accepted.

At the start of the meeting, Mr. Mitsotakis thanked his Vietnamese counterpart for the invitation, and estimated that “I do not need to make much effort to convince my partners that it is a visit that is worth the realization”. He also said that the time of visit is just as interesting “as we celebrate the 50 years of our diplomatic relationships. So I would like to visit Vietnam before the end of the year, because I see many opportunities to further strengthen our bilateral relationships.” The Greek prime minister noted that the two countries have areas of common interest and common interests, and referred to the two countries’ commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
