A brief meeting with US President Donald Trump was held on Tuesday night in The Hague, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the NATO state and governments’ summit.

According to SKAI’s information, during the meeting, there was no reference to issues that were expected to be raised by the Turkish side, such as weapons issues (the purchase of F-35 aircraft, etc.), the issue of the Syrian Kurdish militia or Israel’s movements.

As the Turkish Presidency announced, at the heart of the meeting, bilateral relations between the two states were found and the promotion of cooperation in the field of energy and investment, as well as the defense industry.

The Turkish president also welcomed the truce between Israel-Iran and emphasized the importance of the close dialogue on the ending of the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza and the peaceful resolution of the Russian-Ukraine war.
