The Minister of Health in today’s statement explained that such a thing does not apply as in the provision to which the Head of Health of SYRIZA refers, only two paragraphs have been added in relation to the recognition of the service of doctors in countries outside the European Union.

Specifically, in the introductory paragraph of article 82, it is clearly stated that “In par. 5 of article 11 of law 2889/2001 (A ’37), about the doctors of the National Health System (ESY), tenth and eleventh are added subparagraph, which are worded as follows:
“The preceding subparagraph also applies to the pre-service of a specialist doctor in the health service of the state system of Great Britain, which has taken place after 31.12.2020, in Switzerland, the United States of America, Canada, Australia and Japan.
It can also be calculated for the evolution in the ESY. and the previous service of a specialist doctor in a clinic or hospital of a university institution, regardless of its legal nature, Member States of the European Union and the countries of the previous paragraph, after the consent of the Central Health Council “.
For the rest, no change occurs in par. 5 of article 11 of law 2889/2001, which remains as it was during the days of Mr. Xanthos.
Also, no change is brought about by the newly voted article 82 in the transitional provision of article 7 of law 3754/2009, which established the non-re-announcement of positions and which continues to be valid.
So the status quo remains exactly the same.
