This was stated by the Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis, at the “Tax Forum 2021” of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce on the topic: “Taxation as a key driver for FDI’s” in a discussion he had with the President of the Chamber, Nikolaos Bakatselos.

Regarding the structural problems that plague investment initiatives, the minister stressed that important steps have been taken in terms of licensing, and gave as an example, that the licensing for a wind farm took about seven years and now takes a year.

In addition, he added that the digitization of the state has brought a lot of speed.

Regarding Justice, he noted that in cooperation with the World Bank, a roadmap is being promoted that by 2024 will have completely changed the landscape in Justice in Greece in terms of business and economy.
