Her optimism that by the end of the year we will have reached a set of arrangements to encourage the conclusion collective agreements, Niki Kerameos expressed SKAI 100.3.
The Minister of Labor described as the most friendly and protective measure, the application of the E -Card, noting that in April the overtime in tourism increased by 1.105%.
Referring to the new labor bill, the minister announced that he would not go to Parliament in July, as the dialogue with all social partners will continue. As he pointed out characteristically, “I’m open to suggestions, thoughts and improvements.”
He noted that the 8 -hour basis remains the basis of work in Greece, but the new bill enables overtime work on the same employer up to 13 hours.
The Minister clarified that they preceded the demands of the workers themselves, who – as he observed – and thanks to the reduction of unemployment, have new negotiating power.
Commenting on ELSTAT’s announcements, Mrs Kerameos recalled that when ND took over the country, unemployment was 17.8% and is now almost 10 points below, at 7.9%. It is as he said the greatest reduction in unemployment in the EU. He stressed that from last year to date 86 thousand people found a job.
