Thanksgiving post on social media made the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis grateful to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Layenwho earlier during her speech in Strasbourg honored with her report 20 Greek firefighters who fought with the flames in Spain in August.

It is recalled that Ursula von der Layen referred to the history of 20 Greek rangers – experts in suppressing the fiercest forest fires. When the fires broke out in the Astouria region, Spain demanded Europe’s support and Greece responded to the call.
