The Foreign Minister will take place at the Dinner organized by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
As part of the proceedings of the 80th General Assembly, the Foreign Minister will attend the high -level meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, as well as the International Conference on the solution of the two states co -organized by France and Saudi Arabia.
Mr Gerapetritis will be chaired by the Ministerial Council of the Forum of Ancient Cultures, in which Greece exercises the presidency in 2025.
It is noted that Greece is a member of the United Nations Security Council for the two-year period 2025-2026 and priorities of its term are the peaceful resolution of disputes, respect for international law, the “Women, Peace and Security” agenda, climate change and security, children and security.
In this context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will intervene at the Extraordinary meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the Middle East situation, including the Palestinian issue, as well as the Security Council meeting between the United Nations and the Arab League, chaired by the Republic of Korea.
