THE Kyriakos Mitsotakis speaking at the inauguration of the new regional headquarters building Peristeriou of Court of First Instance of Athensemphasized among other things that the questioning of trust in Justice in this toxic environment can become a self-fulfilling prophecy in the minds of citizens.

In particular, the Prime Minister stated the following:

“It is a positive experience that we all deserve to celebrate together and I think the best proof that the work, the difficult work of the reform of the Justice is being promoted with stubbornness and persistence and always with trust in the Justice. Because questioning trust in Justice can very easily in this toxic environment become a self-fulfilling prophecy in the minds of citizens. That is why we must promote our work with the maximum possible speed so that the citizen himself will soon realize the results of these reform efforts”.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis attended the inauguration of the new building of the Peristeri regional seat of the Athens Court of First Instance, one of the four regional courts of first instance that are being created and will now adjudicate disputes up to 250 thousand euros, with the aim of faster adjudication of cases.

The Prime Minister was welcomed by the Minister of Justice Giorgos Floridis, the Deputy Minister Ioannis Bougas as well as the Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrysochoidis.
