“They don’t surprise me or scare me their vile practices” says Makis Voridis about the attack he received on Saturday in Heraklion.
“They didn’t respect my family (my 12-year-old daughter was also there), nor the children of the families who gathered in the restaurant, without even being in our company” says Makis Voridis in his Facebook post.
“Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go to eradicate far-left violence” concludes.
The post of Makis Voridis
“Left-wing hooligans attacked me yesterday unprovoked in a restaurant in Heraklion, Crete, where I am on a private visit.
“I know them and I am neither surprised nor frightened by their wretched practices! I’ve lived like this my whole life. But they didn’t respect my family (my 12-year-old daughter was also there), nor the children of the families who gathered in the restaurant, without even being in our company.
“Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go to root out far-left violence.”
The former minister had gone to eat with his friends in Heraklion when 25 people in hoods and helmets gathered outside the restaurant and started they throw eggs at him, curse him and say slogans against him.
