The process of collecting signatures for the amendment has begun.
Specifically:
1. With the imposition of the ceiling suggested by KINAL, the citizens will not have to pay more than 10% in relation to what they paid before the energy crisis started (1/5/2021)
2. It is prohibited to cut off electricity to households and businesses, when they are charged more than the ceiling of 10%
3. For the debts that have accumulated from electricity bills from 1/5/2021, it is possible to settle in 240 doses
It is noted that the Prime Minister is expected to present today the general framework of the government intervention for electricity, and will probably follow on Friday its specialization by the competent Ministers of Energy and Finance.
