At the beginning of his visit to Bahrain, the Foreign Minister met with my counterparts from Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and the Secretary General of the Arab League AAGheit.
During his stay in Bahrain from today until Monday, Nikos Dendias will participate in the annual “Manama Dialogue” forum and will hold a series of bilateral meetings with senior officials.
In particular, today, on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue Forum, he is also scheduled to meet with Israeli National Security Adviser Eyal Hulata.
On Sunday, the Foreign Minister is expected to hold bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan, Masrour Barzani, and then with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi.
Also, tomorrow he will participate in the work of the annual forum “Manama Dialogue” (November 19-21, 2021) and, in particular, in the discussion on “Conflict Termination in the Wider Region”.
On Monday, he is scheduled to meet on Monday with his counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani. The talks are expected to cover mainly bilateral relations, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East, the Gulf region and Libya, as well as Greece’s co-operation with the Gulf Co-operation Council, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
After the meeting, Nikos Dendias is expected to be received by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
