He went on to say that the government wants a US military presence in Greece and did not hide behind her finger that she is expelling the bases and that her position is clear in the national interest.
“Let us agree that inaction is not patriotism and ostrichism is not patriotism,” he said. He also said that phobic syndromes that “instead of empowering us, weakening us and limiting us” should not return.
