A few days after their “duel” in the final of the Greek Cup, the two big and historic clubs meet in the decisive match for this season’s championship.

This match, in fact, will be the most important that has ever appeared in the institution at a competitive level, as both teams line up all their top foreign athletes. The match takes place on Thursday at 16:00.

AS Pera Athinon and OEA Rethymno will compete in the match for the 3-4 places on the same day at 13:30.

The first semifinal was judged in one hour in favor of Olympiacos and can not withstand criticism since Rethymno lined up incomplete and without a foreign athlete. Olympiakos prevailed with 3-0 sets and special mention is needed only for the second individual match, where Alexander Simbaev encountered difficulties against the excellent Nikos Antoniadis to finally prevail in the five sets.

The trio of the Rethymnon team was completed by 12-year-old Pantelis Vogiatzidakis and veteran Fanis Tsachakis.
