Corinthians faces Boca again in Libertadores; Palmeiras takes the Cerro Porteño

There will be no Brazilian clashes in the Libertadores round of 16. Conmebol held this Friday (27) the draw for the clashes.

Current two-time champion, Palmeiras faces Cerro Porteño (PAR), while Flamengo faces Tolima (COL). Corinthians and Boca Juniors, who played twice in the group stage, will face off again in the round of 16.

Atlético will decide at home against Emelec (EQU), who will play their first match at home.

Games will be held in the weeks of June 29 and July 6. Before the Libertadores draw, Conmebol defined the clashes for the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana.

The Libertadores knockout match was also aligned. Whoever passes Athletico and Libertad will face the winner of Fortaleza and Estudiantes in the quarterfinals. On the same side of the key, Palmeiras and Atlético can meet in the next phase.

Whoever gets the best between Tolima and Flamengo will play in the quarterfinals against the winner of Corinthians and Boca Juniors. There will also be an Argentine clash because the winners between Talleres and Colón and Vélez Sarsfield and River Plate will face each other.

In the round of 16 of the Sudamericana, Santos will decide in Vila Belmiro against Deportivo Táchira (VEN). The same goes for São Paulo against Universidad Católica (CHI).
