THE Mercedes made its upgrades for Grand Prix of Barcelonawith the results being obvious from the very first day, as in the second period of the free trials, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell completed in positions 2-3.

“I am just optimistic now. I am very happy with our improvement and progress and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone back in the factory who did not give up the fight and kept pushing for progress. We are not the fastest yet, but I think we are on the right track. It is the first time this year that in the big straight we had no porpoising at all. We still have a few bounces in some places, but the situation is much better. It is still difficult to drive but improved compared to before. I believe that we can improve even more “.

“The car responds very differently. We are in a very good position, but we have some limitations ahead of us. We have a little porpoising in some places, but I do not think we will solve them in these three days “.
