Marialena Artakianou started volleyball from the Academies of Iraklis Thessaloniki. In 2009 she joined the women’s team, wearing the jersey of Giraios until 2014, gaining great experiences from the top category of Greek volleyball. From 2014 until today he played for AO Thira, being a key member of the team. With AO Thira she reached the Finals of the Women’s Volley League once (2015-16), in three consecutive Greek Cup Finals (2019, 2021, 2022), and competed in the European salons of the CEV Cup (2016-17) and the Challenge Cup (2018-19, 2019-20).
She is one of the main liberos of our National Team, even competing with the “blue and white” team at the European Championship in Plovdiv in the summer of 2021 “.
