Roman Abramovich’s tenure as owner of Chelsea Football Club officially ended after Toddball finally decided the საბოლო on Monday.

Other investors include US billionaire Mark Walter, co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Bailey baseball team, and Swiss billionaire Hans Jarg Weiss.
Last week, the Premier League confirmed that the consortium had passed tests for its owners and directors. The transaction also received final approval from the EU and Portugal. This is an additional application for Abramovich’s Portuguese citizenship.
Earlier this month, Abramovich was sanctioned and unable to turn a profit, so the deal stalled due to what came of the sale.
However, after extensive negotiations, the government received the necessary guarantees and remitted the proceeds of the sales to a frozen bank account, “for humanitarian purposes in Ukraine to support the victims of the war.”
Once the sale is complete, Chelsea will be able to begin transfer activities and resume negotiations with the signed players. Both were sanctioned during club sanctions.
