Tassos Triantaphyllidis officially became a player of the men’s handball team of PAOK on Thursday. The Amateur announced the acquisition of the 25-year-old playmaker for next year, after the agreement between the two sides on Wednesday, in order to meet his brother, Dimitris, who renewed a little earlier the same day.
The eldest of the two brothers won the Cup this season with AESH Pylaia in the big surprise of F4 in Kozani.
In detail, the announcement:
“PAOK and the men’s handball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Tassos Triantaphyllides, for the 2022-2023 season.
Born on 15/01/1997, Tassos Triantaphyllidis competes as a playmaker and has a height of 190cm.
He started his career with ASE Doukas in the 2015-16 season, receiving a transfer in the second half to Filippos Veroias, with whom he reached the conquest of the double, and remained in the team of Imathia until 2019.
Subsequently, he became a resident of Thessaloniki on behalf of AESH Pylaia. He remained in the team of Pylaia for two years, contributing with his appearances to the conquest of the Greek Cup 2021-2022.
It is international with all age groups of National Greece, recording participations in National Children, Adolescents and Youth.
For the beginning of his cooperation with PAOK, Tassos Triantaphyllides stated on the official website of the club, acpaok.gr: “First of all, I want to thank the team of Pylaia, which has always been by my side in recent years. I am very happy to be a member of this historic association.
I would like to thank the President, Athanasios Katsaris, the curator, Dimitris Hasekidis, and the coach for their trust in me.
