John Fury reveals that the long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua is the only battle Tyson Fury will reveal when he retires, and his son remains “obsessed” with the move.
Fury claims that Boxing Day was delayed after winning an elimination match against Morning White in April and vowed to quit sports and spend more time with his family.
Much of boxing believes the 33-year-old, who still holds the WBC heavyweight title, will return to the temptation of fighting Alexander Usyk and Joshua against Ukraine in a rematch of the IBF, WBO and WBC titles. WBA in August. online.
Fury was forced to deny reports last week that he was already in talks in Saudi Arabia to fight the tournament winner later this year.
And his father, John, says that if Joshua can’t beat Usick this summer, “Gipsy Kings” will be happy to retire.

He continued, “Honestly, he never goes to the gym. He currently works out twice a day, every day. I myself participate in some of them.
“He loves training, less pressure, he loves the gym. He’s basically a gym mouse. It’s funny to watch, but he is.”
He is in good shape and likes to get out in the ring. It is up to him whether it is permanent or not. He says he’s retired, but you didn’t know Tyson.
“He is training very hard for a retired man in my book, but that is his decision, we will see in the future.”
Joshua suffered a second professional loss to Usik last September by a brilliant Ukrainian at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Joshua’s game plan was widely criticized that night after he was unable to take advantage of his large size and strength chosen by the little guy who almost earned a suspension victory in the final round.
Since then, Joshua has made a huge difference to his coach, Rob McCracken, and his team since the day he turned his pro career around. Then Angel Fernandes took the reins and Robert Garcia joined the camp before the rematch.
Joshua was defeated last September, but Usic was still “crushed” by Fury. Fury believes the British camp will make the necessary adjustments to prevent history from repeating itself.
“He’s a big strong guy, last time he just messed up the game plan and despite the decision Usik knew he was fighting. Suddenly he was destroyed, it was Usik,” Fury said.
So all AJ has to do is fix a few items and big size and power wins. He has to be right, but that’s the key to unlocking everything. He believes it can be done.
“He has an interesting way. He beat Lewis when he came back to Saudi Arabia, why? If anyone can, that AJ. I hope he wins, and who knows. Or fighting him can fool Tyson.”
