Neymar’s plane makes a forced landing in Roraima

by

The jet that took striker Neymar, girlfriend and friends to spend a vacation in Brazil had to make a forced landing on Monday night (20), in Boa Vista, Roraima.

There were no injuries. Until the beginning of the afternoon of this Tuesday (21), the group was waiting for the sending of a new aircraft to continue the trip to São Paulo.

The reason for the forced landing would have been a latch on the aircraft’s windshield. When contacted, the press office at Boa Vista International Airport did not provide information.

According to an ESPN report, the aircraft is a Cessna 680 Citation jet and belongs to the player’s company, Neymar Sport e Marketing. The model has nine seats and costs approximately R$ 90 thousand.

On board were the player, Bruna Biancardi, who is his girlfriend, Rafaella Santos, who is his sister, and a group of friends. The presence became public after airport officials released a photo with the Paris Saint-Germain and Brazilian national team forward.

Neymar has been on vacation since June 6, when Brazil faced Japan in a friendly in preparation for the World Cup in Qatar. The forward scored the only goal of the match.

In recent days, the 30-year-old has been to the United States. His most recent photos on social media are in Las Vegas. The flight that landed in Roraima had taken off from Miami with a stopover in Barbados, in the Caribbean, and destination in São Paulo.

PSG’s next commitment is a friendly against Kawasaki Frontale, on July 20, in Japan.
